I first became familiar with the Tarot's predictive capacity when my then boyfriend threw the cards, pointing to a red-haired lady purporting to be my competitor. Much to my chagrin she consequently proved to be just that. Now, over 30 years later, I see the Tarot in a somewhat different light. Although I make lots of predictions with uncanny accuracy, the main focus for me is the process of self-discovery that can happen when the Tarot is used as a tool rather than an end in itself. I find the cards endlessly fascinating with their rich symbolism and never-ending shades and nuances of meaning. My job as the reader is to search for and to find the symbols, hidden and obvious, which will unlock the doors of my client's perception. The initial layout of the cards starts the process; the rest I do myself. The results always prove intruiging. From my experience, the most direct use of the Tarot is to ask a specific question - that way I can endeavor to give a specific answer. My response to one question can lead the way to the unearthing of several other questions. Alongside Tarot, I give Psychic Palm Readings. These give useful personality profiles indicating suitable careers, possible career changes and characteristics that may influence present or future life direction. The readings can be surprisingly informative, throwing insight into the client's personal life. My educatuional background is broad. I have a B.Sc. Economics degree, specialising in Sociology from the London School of Economics. I am currently studying towards a diploma in Counselling.
When I feel moved I sometimes write poetry.  Here is my favourite which I composed about a year ago:

Five Minutes To Midnight

If I could hold Time still I would.
For the Valleys of this World
are far too beautiful
for me to move so swiftly to my Death.

The stillness of the Night
Is making overtures to my Soul.
The Clouds hang silently in the mauve sky.
The brightness of Stars pierces the film of dark.
The Trees stand alert and steal my heart
with their modest gentle grandeur.
Their Leaves join with the murmer of a Wind
 to gently convey their presence.

Red light is appearing beneath the Sky,
talking to the God within Me.
